My family threw me such a lovely baby shower. They crafted many handmade decorations that all came home with us to decorate her nursery with; it was very special! They had a fun time planning everything using Pinterest, of course!
I was 8 months pregnant when we made the 13-hour drive home to Ohio for the baby shower. I was very nervous to travel that far away from home with only five weeks left but I desperately wanted to see my family and celebrate the coming of their first granddaughter together. In my opinion, nothing is more important than family.
Needless to say, we made it there and back safe and sound. It was such a blessing.
One of my favorite crafts that they set up, which is what I am sharing with you in today’s post, was the Bib Station.
The Bib Station included many blank bibs with fabric paint laid out on table. Each guest decorated a baby bib with their own personal touch!
Some were beautiful. Some were hysterical. All of them were meaningful.
Now that my daughter is nine months old and loves eating food, we use these bibs every day.
Each time I pick a bib out, I try to remember who made it and I send them a photo of my LO wearing it – usually with food all over her face and up her nose. So many laughs! She is loved by so many people. We have family and friends across the US and yet they’re still with us every time we sit down for dinner together.
There’s always a way to connect with family.
So if you’re looking for baby shower ideas, please consider incorporating a “bib station” of your own into the party.

*Note: Give them more time to dry than an overnight. I packed all of them up the next day and some of them stuck together, as you can see in some of the photos. Give them time to dry thoroughly! Also, I’ve run each of these bibs through the washer and dryer dozens of times and they still look like the day they were made. Just make sure to use fabric paint.
